how to check jamb result 2020

An ambitious, young Nigerian who is in the process of pursuing a university career, will come to understand the term JAMB. But what really is JAMB? JAMB is the short form of Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board and operates as an examination board for university institutions, such as private or public universities and colleges.
The board runs the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) which is mandatory for all aspiring students who would like to apply to a Nigerian university. In order to be eligible for the test, a student should have previously obtained their Senior School Certificate Examinations (SSCE), awarded by either the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) or the National Examinations Council (NECO).

After sitting the online examination, the score lists for the candidates will be made available online. If a student achieves a minimum score of a 100, he or she is eligible to apply for a college or polytechnic. Recently, JAMB raised the minimum eligibility score to for admission to a university to a 160.
