A Tomato Sauce for Tomato Fanatics

Meatless monday: we are tomato fanatics over here. I can not pass up a good summer heirloom tomato! We whipped up a quick tomato salad with plenty of heirlooms, red onion, blanched green beans, parsley and basil.


We added an extra zip to our dressing by adding some pickle brine. Check out the recipe below! Paired it up with @konowines and enjoyed the summer with another great meal and pairing on our lanai! What are your favorite dishes this summer?

Pickle back dressing
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons pickle juice
1/2 lemon juiced
Salt and pepper

1: whisk together olive oil, vinegar, pickle juice and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.

2 toss with some heirloom tomatoes pour a giant glass of Sauvignon blanc and savor all the summer produce 💗
