Best White Chicken Chili Recipe


The games start coming on real early here. I'm talking 6 am early. So I love making food in the slow cooker on game days. I can throw it on the night before or at the first kick off and it will be ready to have some great game day food. 

I know beer is usually a crowd favorite, but I love a glass of cotes du rhone. 

The light bodied red goes perfectly with spicy game food like chili and nachos. We have two slow cooker recipes to pair with cotes du rhone and be great on football sunday. Check one below and one in the link in the Bio

White Chicken Chili
White Chicken Chili Recipe

1 lb ground chicken
1 tbsp avocado oil
1 onion diced
1 bell pepper diced
1 jalapeno diced
6 cloves of garlic minced
1 28 oz can hominy
1 tbsp cumin
½ tbsp chipotle chili
1 tsp cayenne
1 tsp coriander
1 tsp salt
2 cups chicken broth
1 can coconut milk
1 lime juiced
2 tbsp cilantro chopped
Sour cream, avocado and tortilla chips to top

1: On the saute function of your slow cooker (or in a pan) heat up avocado oil add onion and peppers. Saute until soft. Add chicken, jalapeno and garlic. Mix together until fragrant. Switch to the slow cooking function on low for 6 hours or high for 3. Add Hominy, cumin, chipotle pepper, caynee pepper, coriander, salt, and chicken broth. Mix to combine and top with lid.

After 8 hours stir in coconut milk and lime.
2: Ladle into bowls, top with cilantro, sour cream, avocado and tortilla chips. 3: Serve with a glass of Cotes Du Rhone and lets get ready to watch some football.
