The butterscotch fits in perfectly with cinnamon sugar and apples. Perfect for after an apple picking trip 🍎 or for your thanksgiving table 🦃

Butterscotch Apple pie

1 package of refrigerated pie crust (with 2 crusts
8 apples peeled, cored and sliced
1 lemon juiced
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 cup butterscotch chips and more for sprinking
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar

1: in a large bowl combine apples, cinnamon, lemon juice and butterscotch chips.
2: preheat oven to 425. On the stove top melt butter and stir in brown sugar until combined, remove from heat. Reserve 1 tbsp.
3: Butter a 9 inch pie pan. Place apple mixture into crust slight mounded. Pour butter mixture over apple. For second crust use dough cutter to cut into strips. Make lattice work on top of apples. Brush with remaining butter

4: bake in preheated over for 45 minutes. Cool completely, cutting while warm with leave you with a liquidity mess!

5: pour yourself a glass of wine get a slice of pie and enjoy yourself some fall vibes 🍁
