Simply How to Make Beef Satay Recipe

Not going to lie the first week of whole 30 was tough. The carb crash hit me hard a week of headaches, tiredness and crankiness was no joke. 

Shout out to my coworkers for putting up with me for the past week 😂 the first week is over am I am feeling pretty great. Also the food is super tasty like this beef satay 🤤

1 can coconut milk
2 shallots minced
3 garlic cloves minced
2 tbsp coconut aminos
2 tbsp fish sauce
Salt and pepper
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp corriander
1.5 lbs sirloin cut into 1 inch strips
1 date
1/4 cup almond butter
1 tbsp curry paste

1: in a shallow dish combine half the coconut milk, one shallot minced, one garlic clove minced, 1 tbsp coconut aminos, 1 tbsp fish sauce, cumin and corriander. Add meat to dish and let sit at room temp for one hour. In the meantime soak wooden skewers in water.

2: In a blender add remaining coconut milk, shallots, garlic, coconut aminos, fish sauce, almond butter, date and curry paste. Blend until smooth

3: heat up grill or grill pan to medium high heat. Skewed meat on to wooden skewers making sure that it will lay flat on the grill. Oil grill slates and cook skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side depending on desired doneness

4: serve with almond dip and contemplate how awesome meat on a stick is
